The Founders Fund was established to recognize the individuals who were instrumental in the establishment of the hospital in 1900. Gifts to the Founders Fund support programs and special projects that further the mission of the hospital.

HHH Heritage Society

The Helen Hayes Hospital Foundation Heritage Society has been established to honor those donors who make financial or estate gifts of any size, through wills, trusts, and other planned gifts to the Helen Hayes Hospital Foundation.

Heritage Society members have the satisfaction of knowing that they are continuing a tradition of excellence in rehabilitative medicine and research.

Their generous support helps to ensure that individuals with disabilities receive the highest quality care available and are afforded the latest in assistive technology.

The names of all Heritage Society members are permanently inscribed on a lobby display. Members attend an annual Heritage Society luncheon with others who share their vision.

Join in the legacy of MacArthur Park. By purchasing an engraved brick or bench plaque, you will help us to commemorate this wonderful addition to Helen Hayes Hospital. Bricks and plaques can be purchased in memory of a special someone or to honor or recognize and individual or business. Your support will be visible for all to see while benefiting patient and research programs at the hospital.

Raising Heartates for Handcycling

Raising Heartrates, a group of New York City female triathletes, has selected the Helen Hayes Hospital handcycling program, known as Helen’s Angels, as the beneficiary of its philanthropic efforts. All funds raised will go towards the purchase of additional handcycles, expanding the program to more individuals who are eager to participate.
