About Inpatient Rehabilitation

A national leader in the provision of superior physical rehabilitations services, Helen Hayes Hospital is the largest and most comprehensive specialty facility of its kind in the New York metropolitan region. For over a century, we have dedicated ourselves to restoring mobility and independence to individuals coping with the effects of chronic and disabling illnesses and injuries. We are committed to realizing the promise of rehabilitation and it shows in everything we do.

Helen Hayes Hospital offers a comprehensive continuum of services to individuals recovering from neurological, cardiopulmonary and orthopedic disorders. The expertise of our staff, paired with a broad scope of distinctive and unique services, is evidence of our powerful depth of knowledge and experience in the full spectrum of rehabilitation medicine.

An environment of warmth and hospitality envelops our 155-bed state-of-the-art facility. You will be impressed with our bright and cheerful Atrium and our spacious and comfortable patient rooms. From our inpatient dining room on each unit, you can enjoy majestic Hudson River views, while dining on meals prepared by Culinary Institute of America trained chefs. Our Riverview Café and lushly landscaped MacArthur Park are ideal spots to absorb the views with family and friends, who are always welcome and encouraged to visit.

The Helen Hayes Hospital experience is designed to care for every aspect of your rehabilitation journey, meeting your medical and emotional needs and restoring your confidence and self-sufficiency.
